Heating
One of the biggest aspects of our capabilities is the provision of heating services.
From central boiler plant and district heating schemes, to underfloor heating and radiator circuits, Mellor Bromley have the experience to undertake any project involving heating services and its associated distribution.
Be it high pressure steam systems or medium and high temperature LPHW systems, our capabilities in this field are second to none.
In recent years, Mellor Bromley have built up an enviable reputation for carrying out and delivering industrial scale Plant and Boiler Room installations, within limited and restricted programme durations, as well as difficult site constraints and circumstances.
Our installers are trained in line with all current manufacturers accreditation schemes in all manners of pipework systems, including traditional steel and copper, press-fit systems and electrofusion / butt-fusion polybutene and HDPE.
Our plant installations include biomass boiler systems, gas and oil fired boilers, combined heat and power units (CHP) and ground and air source heat pump systems.
Ventilation
Our capabilities extend to the design and installation of Ventilation Services.
We have a great deal of knowledge and a wealth of experience within this field and carry out ventilation installations directly or through a number of our well established sub-contractors.
We can work to any particular specification and provide manufacture for rectangular and circular systems, fire rated ductwork, clean air systems and fume / chemical extraction.
We consistently work with the industry’s leading ventilation plant and equipment manufacturers, enabling us to provide solutions to the most complex system requirements.
Water
Mellor Bromley provide a wide range of services associated with water and hydraulic applications.
Our capabilities involve the full design and installation of systems such as:

Cold water storage and boosted water applications.

Rainwater recovery systems.

Water softening and filtration.

Chemical cleaning, flushing and dosing.

External utility mains, including hydrant and ring mains.
Cooling
In addition to our heating capabilities, Mellor Bromley have a great deal of experience in the installation of various cooling applications within the Mechanical Services industry.
We specialise in the installation of chiller units and associated services and work with some of the industry’s largest plant manufacturers.
Our installations in this sector range from both small and large chiller units, complete with associated distribution pipework to end of line ancillaries and plant such as cooling coils and chilled beams.
Air Conditioning
Air Conditioning systems predominantly feature on the majority of our Commercial project installations.
Mellor Bromley can cater for any system, large or small. Be it single room split DX systems or multi-zone VRF and VRV systems, fully automated and linked in with a Building Management System.
We work directly with a number of leading manufacturers and contractors, enabling us to provide a suitable solution to any Air Conditioning requirement.
We can also provide specialist bespoke Air Conditioning systems for applications such as Cold Rooms and close control requirements for Server Rooms and the like.
Plumbing & Sanitation
The days of independent Mechanical and Plumbing Contractors are long gone.
Mellor Bromley regularly design, supply and install Plumbing and Sanitation systems on a commercial scale.
Our experienced installers are qualified to carry out installations in both waste and drainage applications, using systems such as uPVC, HDPE, Vulcathene, Friaphon, ABS and Cast Iron. Our capabilities also extend to pumped waste solutions and filtration.
In addition to the above, Mellor Bromley have a wealth of experience in the installation of sanitary ware equipment.
We carry out installations within hospitals and schools and can also undertake the installation of specialist equipment such as laboratory equipment and DDA compliant systems.
