Mellor Bromley were employed directly by the University to carry out the complete Mechanical Services installation of their very latest building, the Interdisciplinary STEM Teaching and Engagement Centre (ISTEC).

The mechanical scope comprised of new heating, chilled water, ventilation, air conditioning, domestic water and drainage systems throughout the new structure.

The new ISTEC building contains state-of-the-art laboratories for teaching and in addition to the above services the sub-contract packages for laboratory gas services, fume extract, and complex laboratory control systems formed part of Mellor Bromley’s contract.
