The British and Irish Modern Music Institute has expanded its ever growing world and countrywide campus’s with the full refurbishment and conversion of one floor of the Bank Chambers building in Manchester, England.

The major transformation from an old gold bullion bank vault to a music centre incorporating teaching rooms, studios, computer suites, live music rooms, and various recording studios is very impressive. Not only has the building been splendidly transformed, but it is also loaded with high specification, state of the art equipment necessary to enhance the learning of amateur musicians or advance the careers of seasoned professionals.

The mechanical services installed on this project consisted of point of use electric hot water heaters, mains cold water, above ground drainage, sanitary ware, VRV air conditioning, mechanical heat recovery ventilation systems, and ‘I Manager’ air conditioning controls.
