Mellor Bromley are proud to have secured the first project at the new Boots Enterprise Zone, Nottingham.

The project is a new Medical Technology Innovation Facility (MTIF) which is being constructed in partnership with the Nottingham Trent University.

The project has been awarded to us by Main Contractor, GF Tomlinson Building and continues to strengthen our successful working relationship with them.

The facility comprises of three new clean rooms and associated engineering and education areas, with the services consisting of new dedicated mechanical ventilation systems, chilled water, LPHW heating and an extension of the Clients steam and condensate infrastructure which provides the primary heating source to the building. Separate potable and category 5 water systems, compressed air, vacuum, lab gases, fume extract, BMS controls and AGD make up the other aspects of mechanical works associated with the project.

The overseeing consultant for the project is Couch Perry Wilkes (Nottingham office).

The contract value for the works is approximately £1.2 million.
