New domestic water services, ventilation, drainage and BMS Controls were installed within the new structure, serving the various new stalls and outlets.

In addition to the food hall installation, a refurbishment of the adjacent market traders storage building formed part of the contract, which involved new gas and ventilation services to the facility.

In close proximity to the project, the existing 2 – 4 Market Place building was also fully refurbished by Kier Construction as part of the relocation of the market’s administration department and office staff.

The works involved new heating, domestic water, gas, ventilation and drainage services to the building, as well as a new sanitary ware fit out to the newly formed toilet block for the general public.
