This is our first project received from Robertson Construction. It involves the provision of new steam plant and associated ancillaries to replace the existing steam supply that is generated from the existing and iconic Nottingham building that is due to be de-commissioned / demolished later this year. The new steam plant room is to be provided in a newly formed internal plant room that houses new steam boiler plant, cold water storage tanks and booster set, a new chimney / flue system, BMS control system, sprinklers and external utility gas and water mains. Mellor Bromley are also carrying out the electrical services on this project to provide the client with a total turn key project, all carried out on a design and build basis. This is yet another job where Mellor Bromley are working closely with Couch Perry Wilkes, who are the services consultant for the project. The project is valued at circa £800k and is due for completion early in 2018.
